Isaiah 32:2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
Friends, one of the MANY names of God is“Hiding Place From the Wind”. The bible passage above also says He is a “Covert from the Tempest”. A covert is a cover or hiding place.
Beloved, as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so is God round about his people. God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in time of trouble.
He is our shield, our glory, and the lifter up of our heads. He is our fortress, our banner. The bible says His banner over us is love.
Beloved, the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and is safe.
In every situation, circumstance, and in every boisterous weather conditions, let us run into the name of Jesus.
He is a stronghold in the day of trouble. Friends, tempest may rage and billows may roll but remember that God is our rock and fortress. Let Him hide you underneath His everlasting arms.
I pray for you that there shall be not just a calm but a GREAT CALM to that storm ⛈ in the mighty name of Jesus 🙏
