2 Samuel 9 … As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king’s sons.
Beloved, God is bringing you out of that mess in the mighty name of Jesus! Someone reading this message is about to step into his or her Jerusalem and begin to dine with kings! If that someone is you, shout a thunderous “HALLELUIAH”!!! Ando so shall it be in the mighty name of Jesus!
There is a story in 2 Samuel about how the destiny of a lame man in a city called Lodebar was turned around for the best. That’s right, friends, IN ONE SINGLE DAY, Mephibosheth was elevated from Lodebar to Jerusalem where he began to eat at the king’s table! I repeat: YOU ARE ABOUT TO START DINING WITH KINGS IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!!
It just so happened that King David woke up one morning and decided to bless anyone left in the house of Saul (for his servant Jonathan’s sake) and a lame man called Mephibosheth happened to be at the right place at the right time. Beloved, that is divine favor! It is true what they say that “Your location determines your allocation”…MAY YOU BE AT THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!
Beloved, it does not matter how long you’ve been in that ugly situation. It only takes God one day to turn things around for you. And the best part is that God does NOT need anyone’s permission to bless you. MAY HEAVEN DECIDE FOR YOU TODAY! Throughout the bible there are examples of how God moved in the lives of his beloved. Joseph woke up one day a prisoner and slept that same day as the prime minister of Egypt! Ruth was elevated from a poor peasant girl to the wife of a great man (Boaz) in a single day and she became an ancestor of Jesus Christ! Esther was a slave in a strange city but was the preferred one and was promoted to the queen! The bible says the steps of a good man are ordered by God (Psalm 37:23). I PRAY IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS THAT YOUR FEET WILL TAKE YOU TO YOUR PLACE OF PROMOTION!
Beloved, promotion comes neither from the East nor the West nor the South BUT from God (Psalm 75:6). MAY GOD PROMOTE YOU FROM MINIMUM TO MAXIMUM! MAY HE CHANGE YOUR STATUS FROM A LOCAL TO A GLOBAL CHAMPION! It is written that eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (I Cor. 2:9). MAY GOD PROMOTE YOU BEYOND YOUR WILDEST DREAMS!
Beloved, you are the head and not the tail; you are above only and not beneath (Deut. 28:13). I pray for you that WHEREEVER you go, you shall be called “Sought out”; you shall be sought out for greatness in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 62:12). The sons of strangers shall bow down to you! You are a city not forsaken! You shall be called Hephzebah for the Lord delights in you! You shall walk upon your high places (Hab. 3:19). You shall possess your possessions (Oba. 1:17). May God Almighty increase your greatness and comfort you ON EVERY SIDE (Psalm 71:21). I pray for you that the rest of your years shall be the best in Jesus’ mighty name!
Beloved, you may have been eating on the floor in Lodebar; I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that from today you shall step out of Lodebar and into Jerusalem where you will begin to eat at the King’s table! Remain blessed in the mighty name of Jesus!
