Empty Vessels Make The Loudest Noise

1 Samuel 17:43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

Goliath had a lot of “mouth” but no substance. He said to David “Am I a dog?” Beloved, he made a lot of noise and even cursed David “by his gods!” But at the end of it all he was killed like a chicken by a young lad (David) whose boast was in Jehovah Sabaoth – The Lord of Hosts.

Beloved, empty vessels make the loudest noise! When a ball is empty, it cannot bounce. But when it is full of air, it bounces very well. Some people are “empty” of the word of God. That’s why it is hard for them to “bounce” back when they are in difficult situations. Beloved, when you are “full” of the word of God, you “bounce” back stronger no matter what life throws at you. When you are full of God’s word, when life brings you lemons, you make lemonade! A drum makes a lot of noise BECAUSE IT IS EMPTY. Friends, on this glorious day that the Lord has made ask yourself the following question: AM I AN EMPTY VESSEL? AM I A VESSEL OF HONOR SANCTIFIED AND MEET FOR MASTER JESUS’ USE? HOW DO I REACT WHEN LIFE THROWS ME LEMONS INSTEAD OF APPLES OR ORANGES? Friends, think on these things!!!

A fool uttereth all his mind but the wise holds it in until afterwards (Prov. 29:11)

Evil communication corrupts good manners. Beloved, if you want to fly like an eagle don’t hang out with chickens because chickens don’t fly. Besides, great eagles fly solo. Rebecca went to fetch water “by herself” when she met with destiny. Iron sharpeneth iron. Saul was among prophets and he also prophesied. Surround yourself with people who make the baby in your womb leap for joy!

Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding (Prov. 17:28)

He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit (Prov. 17:27)

I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that the word of God will dwell richly in you! May God open your eyes to behold wondrous things! I pray that God will make you into a vessel of honor sanctified and meet for His use! I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that you shall be a crown of glory and a royal diadem in God’s hands! In the mighty name of Jesus, you shall be called The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and you shall be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken (Isaiah 62:12). You shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall you boast yourselves (Isaiah 61:6). Remain blessed in Jesus’ mighty name!
